The building envelope encompasses all the exterior components of a structure: roof, walls, below-grade waterproofing, windows, skylights, and so on. It is critical to consider the role of each component in preventing moisture or air from migrating into the building. This presentation aims to educate participants on the importance of the building envelope and how its individual components must be designed, constructed, and maintained to ensure a long-lasting, energy-efficient building.
