Defining Design Excellence in the Era of Climate Change

This Live Event happened on September 16, 2019 (6:00pm - 8:00pm EST)

With the recent adoption of the AIA resolution for urgent and sustained climate action, “design excellence” for our profession has been redefined to align with the COTE Top Ten Measures. Supporting this change, AIA published the The Top Ten Toolkit, a resource accessible to all architects, that closes the information gap to designing high-performing, equitable, beautiful buildings. The Toolkit is designed to provide relevant, general guidance to architects seeking to achieve design excellence on every project.

This session, presented by two of the Toolkit’s lead authors, will share the theory, application, and strategies for using this new resource to its full potential.

Corey Squire, AIA,
