LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Identify the typical uses of PMMA/PUMA in the construction industry.
  • Describe the key physical properties of PMMA/PUMA technology, such as superior elongation and crack-bridging capability, and explain their significance as they relate to the performance of coatings used for waterproofing.
  • Recognize the benefits of PMMA/PUMA technology on the job site, including speed of application and return to service.
  • Discuss the importance of following recommended installation practices, and prepare job specifications that include critical steps, such as surface preparation, for key applications: vehicular coating, horizontal waterproofing, and flashing tie-in.
