- Review the fundamentals of acoustical design, including key definitions and how ceilings play an important role in the acoustic performance of buildings, and address building occupants’ number one concern.
- Consider how thermal mass such as phase change materials address an important part of building design and contributes to reducing energy use
- Recognize how Phase Change Materials provide thermal mass benefit, impacting both comfort and energy use. And understand how key thermal performance attributes are measured.
- Explore various sustainability benefits and attributes associated with acoustical ceilings and thermal comfort.
