Draper Factory Tour for Architects and Designers

Participants will embark on a guided tour of the Draper, Inc., manufacturing facility located in Spiceland, Indiana. The tour encompasses 10 buildings and 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space. This tour covers modern manufacturing methods used in the production of window shades, projection screens, projector lifts, gymnasium equipment, custom solar control solutions, and AV mounting and structure solutions. Participants will learn how the manufacturing processes for these products have evolved and how they pertain to the design and operation of modern buildings, with a particular emphasis (if appropriate) on their area of specialty.
