  1. Review the fundamentals of acoustical design, including key definitions and how ceilings play an important role in the acoustic performance of buildings, and address building occupants’ number one concern.
  2. Consider how thermal mass such as phase change materials address an important part of building design and contributes to reducing energy use.
  3. Recognize how Phase Change Materials provide thermal mass benefit, impacting both comfort and energy use. And understand how key thermal performance attributes are measured.
  4. Explore various sustainability benefits and attributes associated with acoustical ceilings and thermal comfort.
