Self-adhered weather-resistive barriers in modern wall assemblies, particularly within multifamily construction, offer a plethora of benefits to the builder, owner, and occupant.

This multimedia presentation will explore how self-adhered WRBs can contribute to improved air and water control, energy efficiency, and longterm durability. Though serving the same basic function as traditional mechanically fastened wraps, self-adhered WRBs can provide additional benefits by enhancing airflow and improving the tightness of the building envelope.

The presentation also addresses constructability considerations, detailing strategies and alignment with evolving building codes and performance expectations.
