This presentation is a study of the types and applications of security glazing being used in schools. It will review the various threats posed to school buildings and their occupants including forced entry and bullet resistant glazing, and the use of security window films. It will also detail the difference between safety and security, how that dictates building materials used and how it elevates the protection of individuals within.
