Sponsored by Invisible Structures, Inc. | Presented by Nick Daiker and Nicolas Lindseth
Live Webinar Airing on November 19, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET
This course reviews LID strategies, including vegetated systems, bioretention and rainwater harvesting, while highlighting the benefits of using porous surfaces and underground water containment systems to reduce runoff and improve water quality. Through case studies, participants will learn best practices for specifying stormwater management systems as part of LIDs, considering factors such as traffic loads, soil composition and maintenance needs. The course also explores the long-term benefits of such LIDs, including flood mitigation, heat island reduction and contributions towards green building certifications, LEED v5 and SITES.
