Delegated Design

As Owners continue to whittle down architectural fees, architects seeks to transfer design responsibility to the Contractor and their sub-contractors for portions of the work that require engineering. Commonly used systems include such items as cold formed metal framing, stairs, handrails/guardrails, and roofing systems.
