Charrette: Universal Design Solutions for Accessible Public Restrooms
Interactive, concurrent Charrette sessions create universal design solutions for different types of accessible public restrooms. Design solutions will produce functional, creative, universal, accessible designs that meet the diverse needs of restroom patrons and enhance the market value of properties.

Dena Taylor is an architectural consultant with over 30 years’ experience in the commercial construction industry. Dena has expertise in Division 10 Specialties and Division 8 Openings from her employment with Bobrick Washroom Equipment and Pella Windows and Doors. Dena’s primary emphasis is working within the design community as a solutions consultant for architects and designers on project product application, selection and specification including compliance with building, fire codes and accessibility standards. Dena has conducted over 200 continuing education presentations on subjects including accessible, universal public restroom design, specifying code-compliant toilet partitions, sustainable restroom design solutions and building envelope and energy efficiency.
