Anatomy of a Tension Structure

The Anatomy of a Tension Structure course provides instruction on common tensile membrane structure forms and uses, commonly used materials, components, and hardware, how structures are fabricated and installed, along with a few case study projects.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the forms and uses of fabric structure design.
  2. Examine available materials, components, and hardware used in tensile architecture.
  3. Assess the fabrication and installation processes of fabric structures.
