This course describes code requirements of the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code and how these changes affect a stucco wall assembly. Also the course will give an overview of ASTM C 926, the reference standard adopted by the International Building Code for stucco wall assemblies. During the course we will evaluated the advantages and tradeoffs associated with a code minimum stucco assembly, and then discuss ways in which we can optimize stucco performance beyond code.
