Conclusion

Multifamily housing continues to represent a very large part of total building construction across the U.S. and Canada. Architects engaged in this type of building type are creating dynamic, timely, and appropriate designs that address the lifestyles of occupants and the budgets of the owners. They are doing it, in part, by recognizing the readily available products and services on the market that are innovative in design, but grounded in solid principles of product design and manufacturing. By incorporating good design with appropriate product selection, multifamily housing projects can readily achieve high performance that is sustainable over the long term.
