The acoustical quality of a space is impacted by many factors, not the least of which are the construction of the walls and ceilings. This presentation will review both building science and design strategies, with a goal to impart a basic understanding of the factors that contribute to quality acoustics. A review of what to look for in the field during construction is also covered.
