When one considers a major building renovation, it's easy to focus on spaces like corridors, lobbies, offices, guest or patient rooms ... in other words, all the public-facing spaces. We would argue that right after the lobby, a building's elevators are the very next public-facing space building occupants and visitors see.
This Course lays out the case for cab renovations as part of an overall building interior update.
After all ... elevators are interiors, too.

For the past five years, Preston Hombroek has been the Director of Sales for Ascend Elevator Protection System at Inpro. He graduated from UNC Wilmington with an Operations and Production Management degree and minored in Psychology. He was brought on the Inpro team to launch and manage this start-up division and has been involved from the initial concept. Prior to joining Inpro, Preston worked for ThyssenKrupp Elevator (one of the four major elevator companies) as a Service and Repair Account Manager. He has personally been involved in elevator projects spanning the country and has a vast network of elevator industry professionals, including owners, sales reps, consultants, mechanics, inspectors and installation partners. One notable project he recently completed was the Hoover Dam Visitor Center Elevators. He resides in Denver, N.C., just outside of Charlotte with his wife, Caitlin and 2 children. He enjoys anything outdoors: hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, kayaking and is an avid sports follower. |
