Credits:
It’s dirty, emotionally draining and unpleasant, but someone’s got to do it. And in our industry, that someone is us. As violent events plague each and every city across the U.S., trauma and crime scene cleanup is a somewhat new and growing field. Not only do trauma and crime scene cleanup professionals need to be sensitive to the needs law enforcement officials on a job site, but often with family members and even sometimes the media. In this presentation, we’ll discuss the growing field of trauma and crime scene cleanup. Specifically, implementing a disaster response program – whether a trauma, crime scene or mass-casualty event. We’ll also discuss the ANSI/IICRC S540 Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup standard as well as using the standard to properly remediate a crime scene for the health and safety of building occupants.
The IICRC is an ANSI accredited standards development organization.
