This course reviews exciting, new technology advances that are transforming K-12 classrooms into integrated, collaborative "learning platforms." The course discusses the technology paradigm shift that is occurring in K-12 education and describes five key components that contribute to − and help define − the "interactive classroom." Research reports on the impacts of interactive classrooms on student performance are reviewed, and the course ends with a look at where classroom technology will be headed in the very near future.
