In 2014, the HVAC industry experienced broad contamination issues with thermostatic expansion valves. This educational webinar will help to clarify the TXV issues by providing: an overview of TXV function; an explanation of the impact and symptoms of contamination on the TXV; a description of the solutions; troubleshooting guidance for when a system is believed to be contaminated; and insight on common installation problems uncovered during an in-depth technical investigation into the issue.





Jeff StaubJeff Staub is Application Manager for Danfoss in North America. With more than 15 years of HVACR experience, he is responsible for all levels of customer application support for the company's diverse product portfolio for refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors, including compressors, controls, heat exchangers, and line components. Jeff began his career in Danfoss as Application Engineer. In 2002, he was appointed Technical Services Manager in Mexico where he was responsible for establishing the production of Danfoss filter driers and thermostatic expansion valves. In 2007, he was named Application Engineering Manager at the company's North American headquarters.
